Relationship Therapy in Madison, WI

Relationship therapy at Sandhill Psychotherapy is offered for people in consensually non-monogamous, polyamorous, or otherwise non-traditional relationship structures who want to better understand their relational dynamics and relate more intentionally. Clients may be navigating communication challenges, boundary setting, changes in structure, or questions around intimacy, trust, and commitment across multiple relationships.

The work is collaborative and reflective, with attention to patterns that emerge within and across relationships rather than assuming a single relational template. Therapy provides space to examine expectations, agreements, attachment dynamics, and sources of tension or uncertainty, while supporting clearer communication and more deliberate ways of relating.

Sessions typically take place in the office and may also incorporate optional outdoor or movement-based formats when helpful. These approaches are used intentionally to support engagement and perspective, and are guided by the goals and preferences of those involved.
